2020 marks the year when we felt mature enough to be able to make a difference. To create changes and get to know the subject of sustainability and define what it means for us. During the year, we worked out a clear plan with sustainability promises in social, economic and ecological sustainability aspects, and now we have begun our journey of change.
After getting acquainted with all the buzzwords that exist in connection with our sustainability work and creating an understanding of their meaning, we decided to work with sustainability promises with intermediate goals. Our promises and sub-goals are based on achieving our great main goal which is; that we promise you that we will become a climate-smart IT supplier. 2020 gave us new and changed conditions when we produced measurement values for our first climate accounts. The pandemic put an end to several things, such as travel to the extent we are used to at Infozone. With the help of ZeroMission, we found out our CO₂e emissions, which we can have as a benchmark for our future work. Here you can read more about our measured values and our climate report which show that we have a CO₂e emission of 1.72 tons per employee.
When we began our work with sustainability, in the late summer of 2020, we started by placing our work based on the global goals and conducted a survey in the organization where employees had the opportunity to influence and provide input for our goals. As a result, many of our sub-goal categories are based on employees' opinions with the global goals taken into account.

In our promise of our development in the social aspects, we have worked on the basis of sub-goals under the categories: skills development, employee appraisals, gender equality, the workplace and well-being.

In our promise of our development in the economic aspects, we have worked on the basis of sub-goals under the categories: strategy and stakeholders.
Infozone shall conduct business in an ethical manner with respect for our fellow human beings and develop the company with good business practice. We have zero-tolerance for anti-corruption and bribes and we work to counteract this in our business. We will work even closer to our partners to do together what we can to reduce the negative environmental impact that IT has today in the digital society. This is one of our clear focus goals in our strategy in 2021.
